"The Bend"
The name "De Bocht" as the pub has traditionally been called comes from a fenced-in area, within which stray cattle were temporarily housed by the cowboys. The cowboys were boys who had to look after the cattle until the owner came to collect them. In 1877, the then owner started a taproom.
