Trio Bohémo was formed in 2019. Despite all members being from the Czech Republic, they only met in Budapest, Hungary and decided to form a piano trio together shortly afterwards. A few months after their formation, they won second prize at the prestigious Gianni Bergamo Award in Lugano, Switzerland.
Trio Bohémo has, by its own admission, been "finally" living out of suitcases again since August 2021. The award-winning Czech trio tours Europe between concert performances, competitions, intensive rehearsals in Prague and master classes at the European Chamber Music Academy. Highlights include a debut at the Vienna Musikverein and recitals at the Festival Lago Maggiore Musica in Italy, Ghent Festival of Flanders in Belgium, the Black Forest Music Festival and the Prague Spring Festival in their native Czech Republic.
