Anno 1970-and you can totally tell, we are guests at the posh Barton Academy, a boys' boarding school in the US state of Massachusetts. Christmas holidays are just around the corner and the students are looking forward to the time they will be home. Except for a few stragglers (holdovers). Angus Tully is one of them and he, along with cranky history teacher Paul Hunham, who was once at the school himself, will be forced to spend time at the institute. Fortunately, there is also cafeteria manager Mary Lamb, who is mourning the loss of her son, who died during the Vietnam War.
