One of the smaller titles that held up well in movie theatres this summer gives us the opportunity to introduce to you yet another Italian film with a moving and true story.

Sometime in 2017, the court in Naples is looking for a family for baby Alba, that's how it goes in Italy. Because of Down syndrome, she was abandoned in hospital from birth and then finding adoptive parents is not so easy. Luca is single and gay and he has a strong desire for fatherhood; a solution is quickly found, you would think. But never before have the courts approved adoption by a single, gay man. Together with his persistent lawyer, he wonders how many 'traditional' families will have to reject this adoption before it is his turn.

Nata per te is based on the book of the same title by Luca Mercadante and Luca Trapanese.
