Filmtheater Fanfare | L'histoire de Souleymane

We ourselves were very impressed by the story of Souleymane, who eventually ended up in Paris after a dangerous journey from Guinea. He has no papers and can only earn some money in someone else's name as a meal delivery boy. We hurriedly rode with him on his bicycle through the busy streets of Paris and he was prepared with a rehearsed story, should he be stopped.

He also has such a story for the interview with the immigration department, which can decide on a residence permit. But they have heard that story there in several variations before.

Abou Sangare, who plays Souleymane, also left Guinea with his friends. Via Algeria, Libya and by boat to Italy, he too ended up in France.
