Filmtheater Fanfare | Alpha (Monday matinee)

Father Gijs and son Rein both have to cope with the death of their wife and mother. Rein leaves for a village in the Swiss Alps to work as a snowboard instructor. His calm life turns upside down when his father visits him there and it becomes clear that on a personal level, they are difficult to get along.

Of course, beautiful nature plays a modest role initially, but as the story progresses, that role becomes increasingly intrusive, while so does the difficult father-son relationship escalate.
