Grand open-air concert with the Royal Air Force Orchestra
On Saturday 21 June, the Halderberge municipality, in cooperation with the Royal Air Force Orchestra, is organising a spectacular open-air concert. This special event will be the finale of the 80th anniversary celebrations. The concert will take place on the attractive Jesuit Square in Oudenbosch and is open to all residents of Halderberge and its surroundings.
A week before National Veterans Day, Halderberg veterans are honoured as special guests of the evening.
'Made in Holland': a musical ode to Dutch music
The Orchestra of the Royal Air Force will perform with 'Made in Holland' a tribute to Dutch music. Against the impressive backdrop of Oudenbosch's basilica, the finest classics and contemporary hits resound. From moving ballads to rousing sing-alongs-the audience is taken on a musical journey through the rich musical history of our country. With impressive arrangements, a touch of show and a swinging performance, the orchestra knows how to enchant everyone.
A unique musical experience
The Orchestra of the Royal Air Force, founded shortly after World War II, is known for its versatile repertoire and innovative performances. Led by conductor Jasper Staps, the 48 professional musicians bring an evening of musical magic. More than a military orchestra, this ensemble is a musical calling card of the air force and one of the most innovative orchestras in the Netherlands.
