At the request of and in cooperation with the Pastoral-Diaconal centre De Pelgrim in Oudenbosch, we are revisiting Sorry we missed you which previously received a 9.0 from the Fanfare audience.

Director Ken Loach (Golden Palm for I, Daniel Blake, 9.3) always stands up for the less fortunate in contemporary Britain. Ricky and Abby live in Newcastle with their children Seb, 15, and Liza Jane, 11, and the family is barely making ends meet. Abby works long hours in home care and Ricky goes into business with a mail-order company. This demands a lot from him with an excessive workload and an overload of rules and protocols. The hard worker hardly has any rights and whether he and his family have a future is very much in doubt.
