Filmtheater Fanfare | Familiar touch

In her kitchen, retired cook Ruth, an elderly lady, prepares her breakfast. Not everything goes quite right, but oh well. When a younger man rings the doorbell, who is confidential with her, they sit down to dinner together.

A little later, we find out that Ruth suffers from dementia and has to be admitted to a nursing home, which she admittedly chose herself, although she does not remember anything about it. Consequently, this does not make her stay there any easier and she feels she does not belong there either.

We don't really want to tell more about the proceedings, but it is certainly moving and confrontational.
