Filmtheater Fanfare | Downtown Abbey: the Grand Finale

We assume that with the Grand Finale a highly successful British television series of seven seasons, several Christmas specials and also two cinema films concluded the historiography of the aristocratic Crawley family upstairs and their staff downstairs.

The big question is how the family, with their staff and their Downton Abbey, are to face the future of the 1930s with so many changes taking place.

Filming again took place at Highclere Castle in Hampshire, whose first stories date back to 749. The castle can be visited and, due to the new film, will probably only just be able to handle those visitors.
