Biggest Astro boot sale day of the low countries

Saturday, September 13 is the day:

Biggest Astro boot sale day of the low countries

- Around the Jesuit monastery in Oudenbosch.
- 13 September between 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

On 13 September 2025, we will celebrate that our observatory has been operational for another 10 years. This entire day we welcome every astro enthusiast(star) to celebrate this fact with us. One part of this day is a big Trunk Sale Day, where you can offer your surplus astro stuff for sale to interested astro colleagues. If you would like to sell items, please let us know via THIS LINK. The cost is 25 euros for a stall. We have a limited number of stalls, so please let us know in time! You can checkout the stall on the day, but we need to know you are coming.

Entrance is free for all, there will also be lectures and demonstrations in the garden that day, and there will be ongoing tours of the oldest People's Observatory in the Netherlands. We will have an Astro Grabbelton for the children and we have organised a tombola where we will raffle off a number of telescopes.

Brasserie Villa D'este will offer an adapted menu on this day, as well as the unveiling of the Apollo Flight Director Desk, an interactive console where everyone can experience the Apollo flights for themselves.

In case of bad weather, we will switch to the dome tent in the convent's garden.

Sign up if you have something to sell, we expect a big crowd!

Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday, September 13!!!
