Weekend of Science at Observatory Tivoli!

Dear Star friends and girlfriends,.

Weekend of Science is a national event that Observatory Tivoli has participated in for years. We open our doors one afternoon, 6 October, to children between 8 and 14 years old to introduce them to Astronomy. The children will each get to put together their own planetarium at the observatory, through this they will learn which planets there are, and how they are related to each other in our solar system. We will also visit the dome and observatory attic, with a bit of luck we can still spot solar flares on the sun! We have room for 30 children, full is full.

The event starts at 14:00 and ends at 16:00.

The event costs 10,- per child, this includes the planetarium which one may take home. We ask parents to wait in the Brasserie. You can sign up via this LINK. Once payment is received, the reservation is final. There are only a limited number of places available so be quick! See you on 6 October!
