Film theatre in Oudenbosch with a 'better' film every Thursday in the Utopia Hall at Markland College.

Every Thursday evening, Filmtheater Fanfare in Oudenbosch shows a film. When programming, artistic and/or cultural added value is decisive. Every now and then, a film is preceded by an extra-informative lecture and, increasingly, an activity is also organised on other days.

In 2015, we screened Ventoux (7.5), the film adaptation of Bert Wagendorp's novel of the same name, in which 4 friends climb that famous mountain together to remember their late buddy. Last Round is seen as the sequel to that film and the cast is therefore partly the same. André, Bart and David are childhood friends, by now well into their 50s, and together they are going to refurbish an old café that friend Joost bought in Belgium. Things may not be flowing the way they would have done in the past, but of course there is also a lot to discuss. Getting older is increasingly a topic of conversation, but with humour and loyalty, they think they can handle the next stages of life.
