Sights
During the four-day cycling event, you will pass several places of interest. For example, you will cycle along The Basilica of Oudenbosch, an imposing building that resembles St Peter's Basilica in Rome. You can also visit the Oudenbosch Arboretum, a beautifully landscaped botanical garden with many unusual plants and trees. Or look around at the former boys' boarding school Saint Louis one of Oudenbosch's largest structures. The starting point of all cycle routes is at Bovendonk. This is a masterpiece by Pierre Cuypers now a hotel and conference centre.
Activities
Besides the cycling itself, there are also various activities to experience during the four-day bicycle event. For example, you can take part in a city walk with a guide who tells you everything about the history and peculiarities of Oudenbosch along the way. After cycling, you can of course cool off in the water at water play park Splesj. With several swimming pools, slides and a spray park, you will not be bored. During the weekend of the four-day cycling event, there are also cosy party evenings where you can enjoy live music and good food and drinks.
Children's activities
For children, there are also several activities to experience during the four-day cycling event. For example, there is a children's route with fun assignments and games along the way. After cycling, children can also jump on the bouncy cushions and there are changing activities such as face painting, balloons and children's games. Highly recommended are, for example Brasserie Tivoli in Oudenbosch. Located in a former monastery, this brasserie offers a beautiful view of Oudenbosch's basilica. Here you can enjoy a sumptuous lunch, dinner or just a cup of coffee and cake. If you prefer something more luxurious, then Restaurant De Haard in Bosschenhoofd comes highly recommended.
