Day trip in the Netherlands: visit Halderberge!

A day out in the Netherlands?
Discover surprising Halderberge

Anyone wanting a day out in their own country quickly thinks of Amsterdam or one of the other big cities. Nice, but not really surprising.
Among crowds of tourists, the experience is not nice. Spared the crowds but still enjoy a fun day? Visit Halderberge.

Halderberge is a municipality in West Brabant consisting of the 5 towns of Oudenbosch, Oud Gastel, Stampersgat, Hoeven and Bosschenhoofd. Not only for culture, but also for nature and adventure, this is a great place to be.

Sniffing up culture in Brabant

You can see Halderberge from far and wide. The Basilica of Oudenbosch towers above the landscape.
Hey but I spotted this structure in Italy too! That's right, this Basilica is a copy of St Peter's in Rome.
During a city walk in Oudenbosch you quickly imagine yourself in Italian spheres.

During the winter months, the culture sniffing is extra atmospheric during the chapel concerts. Several concerts are planned in Oudenbosch Basilica and Bovendonk Hoeven Chapel.

Walking and cycling in the Brabant countryside

These winter months are also great for walking and cycling. In the autumnal landscape, enjoy the peace and quiet and, in due time, you will find an atmospheric Brasserie or culinary restaurant.

On an adventure in Brabant

Prefer a little more action? From Seppe Airport, make a parachute jump or hop on a plane for a sightseeing flight over West Brabant. Hire a Solex in Oud Gastel or explore the municipality on a mountain bike.
